5 pounds | Cucumbers |
3¾ cup | Vinegar |
3 cups | Sugar |
3 tablespoons | Pickling salt |
4½ teaspoon | Celery seed |
4½ teaspoon | Turmeric |
1 teaspoon | Dry mustard |
Wash cucumbers & cut in strips or slices. Pour boiling water over cucumbers & let stand overnight. The next day, drain off water & rinse & pack cucumbers in clean jars. In a large pan, combine remaining ingredients.
Bring to a boil & cook 5 minutes. Pour over cucumbers in jars & seal.
