9-inch pie shell
1½ cup Flour
1 cup Brown sugar
¼ cup Shortening or butter
½ cup Hot water
½ teaspoon Baking soda
½ cup Molasses

Make crumbs by combining the flour, sugar, and shortening. Dissolve the soda in the hot water and combine with the molasses. Pour into pie shell.Top with crumbs and bake at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes or until firm.
