Shaker green beans

Yield: 6 Servings

Measure Ingredient
2 tablespoons Butter
2 tablespoons Flour
¼ teaspoon Pepper
1 teaspoon Salt
8 ounces Old Cheddar cheese; grated
½ cup Fine bread crumbs tossed with:
1 tablespoon Butter
1 teaspoon Sugar
1 medium Onion; finely chopped
1 cup Sour cream
1 \N Bag (Large) frozen french style green beans

From: Pat Belanger <cookie@...> Date: Sun, 18 Aug 1996 19:41:39 -0700 Cook beans for about 2 minutes and drain. Melt butter, add flour, seasoning and stir. Add sour cream and onion. Spread over cooked green beans in a shallow baking dish. Cover with grated cheese and crumbs. Bate at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes.
