Schnitzel beans

Yield: 6 Servings

Measure Ingredient
1½ quart Green beans -- cut
2 tablespoons Bacon -- chopped
1 tablespoon Shortening
3 mediums Onions -- sliced
4 mediums Tomatoes -- sliced
1 teaspoon Salt
1 cup Hot water
\N dash Red pepper

Fry bacon crisp; add remaining ingredients. Simmer for 1 hour. Add water as needed.
