Savory spread

Yield: 20 Servings

Measure Ingredient
1 can (Small) sliced pitted black olives
3 \N Cloves garlic; minced
13 ounces Cheddar cheese; grated
1 \N Onion; chopped
1 bunch Green onion; chopped
1 \N Stick margarine; at room temperature
1 cup Real mayonnaise
½ can Green chiles or 3 jalapeno peppers
\N \N French bread sliced in rounds or halved

Combine all ingredients. Spread on slices of French bread rounds or on bread split in half. Heat in pre-heated 350 degree oven until cheese melts.

Serve hot. Serves 20-25.
