Sangria southern

Yield: 6 Servings

Measure Ingredient
1 \N Lemon; thinly sliced
1 \N Orange; thinly sliced
1 \N Lime; thinly sliced (up to)
2 tablespoons Sugar
1 \N Jigger (1.5-oz) Triple Sec
1 \N Bottle (4/5 quart) dry red wine
½ cup Club soda; chilled
\N \N Additional lime slices

Remove seeds from sliced fruit. Place slices in glass pitcher and add 1 to 2 Tablespoons sugar. Allow to stand for a few minutes. Add Triple Sec to sliced fruit. Stir with a wooden spoon, bruising fruit to extract juices.

Add wine. More sugar may be added if desired. Chill. Just before serving, add club soda. Serve over ice and garnish with additional lime slices.

Yield: 6 to 8 servings.
