Date: Mon, 7 Aug 1995 16:32:38 GMT Mix together ⅓ C scalded, cooled milk and 2 Tbl corn meal. Let stand, covered, in a warm place for 24 hours. It should be bubbly. Stir together: 1 C scalded milk ½ tsp salt 2 Tbl molasses 3 Tbl oil 1 C whole wheat flour Add corn meal mixture. Stir in enough white flour to knead, about 2½ C. Knead about 5 minutes. Form one loaf and grease the top.

Place in a greased loaf pan. cover, let rise until double. Time required will vary. Bake at 375 deg for about 35 min.
