1 can (16-oz) tomato puree
½ cup Water
½ can (7-oz) chipotle peppers
2 mediums Onions; chopped
Cloves garlic; crushed
¼ teaspoon Salt

Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan; bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat and simmer 20 minutes. Puree in a blender container or food processor bowl.
