| Measure | Ingredient |

| 1 cup | Sugar |
| ⅔ cup | Butter |
| 2 cups | Flour |
| 2 | Eggs |
| 1 pounds | Whole pecans |
| 1 pounds | Dates; chopped |
| 1 pounds | Raisins |
| 1 teaspoon | Cinnamon |
| 1 teaspoon | Cloves |
| 1 teaspoon | Baking soda dissolved in |
| ¼ cup | Hot water (cooled) |
| ¼ cup | Bourbon |
Mix all ingredients & drop by teaspoonful onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for about 15 minutes. Yields 7 dozen.
