Russian cheese babka

Yield: 6 servings

Measure Ingredient
2 packs (8oz) cream cheese soft
1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
½ cup Butter
⅓ cup Chopped red candied cherries
1 cup Lg. curd cream style cottage
¼ cup Golden raisins
\N \N Cheese
2 tablespoons Diced candied pineapple
½ cup Sugar
¼ cup Toasted almonds (optional)
1 tablespoon Fine shredded orange peel
1 tablespoon \" \" lemon peel

Combine first 7 ingredients, beat until smooth. Mix in remaining ingredients. With a moistened piece of cheescloth line a clean flower pot whole. Put in mix and put on a rack to drain in refrigerator overnight or longer. Unmold and garnish with candied cherries.
