|1½ cup||Red or black raspberry preserves or jam; seedless,|
|DO NOT USE JELLY***|
|2 tablespoons||Red raspberry vinegar|
|2 tablespoons||Lemon juice|
|1 teaspoon||Lemon zest|
|1 teaspoon||Worcestershire sauce|
|1 teaspoon||Dijon mustard|
|¼ teaspoon||Ground mace|
Scoop the raspberry preserves into a small stainless steel or flame proof ceramic saucepan and blend in the vinegar, lemon juice and zest, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, and mace. Heat to boiling, the simmer gently for 5 minutes. Serve hot or cold. Makes about 2 cups.
