| Measure | Ingredient |

| 1 pounds | Rock shrimp |
| 2 quarts | Water |
| 1 teaspoon | Salt (optional) |
In saucepan combine water & salt & bring to boil. Add shrimp & cook over med heat 1½ to 2 minutes. Drain & rinse immediately with cold water. Serve with drawn butter. Shrimp meat can be removed from the shell easily by bending shell backwards, & pulling meat from shell with fork.
