Red wine and oregano marinade

Yield: 4 Servings

Measure Ingredient
¼ cup Finely chopped onion
¼ cup Finely chopped fresh oregano or 2 tsp. dry
6 \N Cloves garlic; minced
¼ teaspoon Pepper
¼ cup Dry red wine
3 tablespoons Soy sauce
1 tablespoon Extra-virgin olive oil
1 tablespoon Red wine vinegar

In blender container, combine all ingredients; blend well. Pour mixture over lamb chops, beef steak, or lamb or beef cubes for kabobs. Let stand at room temperature for 15 minutes to marinate. Makes ¾ cup--enough for 4 servings of meat.
