Measure | Ingredient |

¼ cup | Margarine |
1 cup | Light brown sugar |
1 \N | Egg |
¾ cup | Flour |
1 teaspoon | Baking powder |
½ teaspoon | Salt |
½ teaspoon | Vanilla extract |
½ cup | Chopped pecans |
Melt margarine, remove from heat. Blend in sugar and cool. Stir in egg. Mix flour, baking powder and salt togther. Stir into mixture. Add vanilla and nuts. Spread into greased and floured 8 inch square pan. Bake 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Do Not Overbake! Cool before cutting.
