| 2 larges | Egg |
| 1½ cup | Sugar |
| ⅔ cup | Shortening |
| ½ teaspoon | Baking Soda |
| 2 teaspoons | Baking Powder |
| 2¾ cup | Flour |
| 1 teaspoon | Salt |
| 1½ teaspoon | Cinnamon |
| ⅔ teaspoon | Nutmeg |
| ½ cup | Milk |
| 2 cups | Wild Plums; Cooked |
Sift dry ingredients together. Set aside. Cream shortening and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs and beat thorough- ly. Add dry ingredients alternately with milk and plums. Bake at 350 degrees until cake tests done (springs back when touched with finger). Cool.
