piquant chocolate sauce

MeasureIngredient
6 tablespoons Golden syrup
9 ounces Soft brown sugar
2 ounces Butter
3 fluid ounce Water
6 ounces Can evaporated milk
Lemon, rind and juice, finely grated

Measure syrup with hot spoon into pan, add sugar, butter, water, heat gently, stirring occasionally, until sugar dissolved. Bring to boil, take off heat, stir in milk, lemon.
