|1 quart||Peanut Oil For Frying; no substitutions|
|1 pack||Chicken Wings (Second And Third Joints); Approx.12 Wings|
|½ cup||Butter; No Substitutions|
|½ cup||Frank's Red Hot Sauce|
|1 dash||Garlic Powder|
|Ranch Or Blue Cheese Dressing For Dipping|
|Celery Sticks For Garnish|
Preheat oil in a deep fryer to 375 degrees. Deepfry wings 10 to 12 at a time, until golden brown, approx. 10 to 12 minutes. Place wings on paper towels to drain. In a medium saucepan, melt butter. Add red hot sauce, vinegar, garlic powder and pepper. Bring to a simmer and add chicken wings.
Toss wings in sauce for a few minutes. Serve with ranch or blue cheese dressing with celery sticks for garnish.
If you like your wings hotter add additonal sauce (to taste) to the butter.
