pepita chile snacks

MeasureIngredient
1 pounds Pepitas; (pumpkin seed
  ; kernel
3 tablespoons Lime juice
3 tablespoons Soy sauce
1 teaspoon Cumin
½ teaspoon Black pepper
½ teaspoon Garlic powder
½ teaspoon Thyme
12 ounces Whole wheat type Chex cereal
  Salt & cayenne pepper to taste
  Cooking spray

Preheat oven to 375 F. In a large mixing bowl or pot, combine pepitas, lime juice, soy sauce, and cumin. Toss to coat evenly. Add cereal and toss again. Spread mixture out on a nonstick baking sheet. Spray lightly with oil and sprinkle with salt and cayenne, if desired. Bake 10 to 12 minutes, stirring halfway through, until toasty and lightly browned.
