Peanut butter brownies

| ⅓ | cup | Butter |
| 2 | cups | Sugar |
| 1 | cup | Brown sugar,firmly packed |
| 4 | Eggs | |
| 1½ | cup | Brown sugar,firmly packed |
| ½ | cup | Butter |
| ¼ | cup | Milk |
| 1½ | teaspoon | Vanilla |
| 3 | cups | Flour,all-purpose,sifted |
| 1 | tablespoon | Baking powder |
| 1 | teaspoon | Salt |
| ¼ | cup | Peanut,chopped |
| 1 | tablespoon | Honey |
| 1 | cup | Peanuts,dry-roasted,chopped |
Directions
TOPPING
Cream the peanut butter, butter, and sugars. Add the eggs and vanilla and beat until well blended. Sift dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture along with peanuts; mix until smooth. Spread batter evenly into a greased 13x9x2" pan. Bake in a preheated moderate oven (350'F.) for 35 minutes.
*** TOPPING ***
Combine sugar, butter, milk, and honey. Bring to a boil and cook slowly for 10 minutes. Remove from heat and add peanuts. Let cool and spread on warm brownies. Cut into squares.
