Peanut butter brownies

Yield: 12 servings

Measure Ingredient
¾ cup Peanut butter
⅓ cup Butter
2 cups Sugar
1 cup Brown sugar,firmly packed
4 \N Eggs
1½ cup Brown sugar,firmly packed
½ cup Butter
¼ cup Milk
1½ teaspoon Vanilla
3 cups Flour,all-purpose,sifted
1 tablespoon Baking powder
1 teaspoon Salt
¼ cup Peanut,chopped
1 tablespoon Honey
1 cup Peanuts,dry-roasted,chopped

TOPPING

Cream the peanut butter, butter, and sugars. Add the eggs and vanilla and beat until well blended. Sift dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture along with peanuts; mix until smooth. Spread batter evenly into a greased 13x9x2" pan. Bake in a preheated moderate oven (350'F.) for 35 minutes.

*** TOPPING ***

Combine sugar, butter, milk, and honey. Bring to a boil and cook slowly for 10 minutes. Remove from heat and add peanuts. Let cool and spread on warm brownies. Cut into squares.
