| Measure | Ingredient |
|---|---|
| 2 cups | Sugar |
| 3 cups | Raw peanuts |
| ¾ cup | Light corn syrup |
| ¼ cup | Water |
| 1 dash | Salt |
| 3 teaspoons | Soda |
Combine sugar, peanuts, corn syrup, water and salt. Cook on medium, stirring continuously, until peanuts are very brown, to hard-crack stage.
Remove from heat; add soda and stir. Pour into well-buttered baking sheet.
