Peaches 'n cream ice cream

Yield: 12 Servings

Measure Ingredient
3 pounds Mashed fresh peaches or
3 cans (1-lb) freestone peaches; drained and mashed
1 tablespoon Fresh lemon juice
4 cups Milk
3 cups Whipping cream
1½ cup Sugar
1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
¼ teaspoon Almond extract
1 can Sweetened condensed milk
¼ teaspoon Salt (up to)
3 drops Red food color; optional

When using fresh peaches, sweeten to taste. Combine peaches and lemon juice. In a very large mixing bowl combine milk, whipping cream, sugar, vanilla and almond extract, salt. Add peaches to the mixture; stir in food color, if,desired. Chill. Put into ice cream freezer and churn. Yields 1 gallon.
