½ pounds | Spaghetti |
2 tablespoons | Vegetable oil |
1 \N | Onion; coarsely chopped |
1 pounds | Round or sirloin steak; cut in very thin pieces |
¼ teaspoon | Accent |
⅓ cup | Soy sauce (up to) |
4 \N | Cloves garlic; chopped |
6 \N | Scallions; sliced |
½ \N | Lemon; juice of |
\N \N | Lemons |
Cook spaghetti in well salted water just until tender. In heavy skillet, quickly fry onion & steak in hot oil. Turn heat off & add Accent, soy sauce & garlic. Strain spaghetti & add to skillet. Let spaghetti sit & absorb soy sauce for 30-40 minutes. Just before serving, heat pansit until very hot, contsantly stirring. Put in bowl & toss with scallions. Squeeze juice of about ½ lemon over all & toss again. Serve with extra lemon or lime slices.
