Pansit with beef

Yield: 6 Servings

Measure Ingredient
½ pounds Spaghetti
2 tablespoons Vegetable oil
1 \N Onion; coarsely chopped
1 pounds Round or sirloin steak; cut in very thin pieces
¼ teaspoon Accent
⅓ cup Soy sauce (up to)
4 \N Cloves garlic; chopped
6 \N Scallions; sliced
½ \N Lemon; juice of
\N \N Lemons

Cook spaghetti in well salted water just until tender. In heavy skillet, quickly fry onion & steak in hot oil. Turn heat off & add Accent, soy sauce & garlic. Strain spaghetti & add to skillet. Let spaghetti sit & absorb soy sauce for 30-40 minutes. Just before serving, heat pansit until very hot, contsantly stirring. Put in bowl & toss with scallions. Squeeze juice of about ½ lemon over all & toss again. Serve with extra lemon or lime slices.
