|1½ pounds||Hamburger or ground turkey|
|1 small||Onion, chopped|
|½ cup||Chopped celery|
|1 can||(small) sliced water chestnuts, drained and liquid reserved|
|1 can||(4 oz) sliced mushrooms, drained and liquid reserved|
|⅔ cup||Raw rice (measure dry)|
|⅓ cup||Soy sauce|
Brown hamburger, onion, and celery in a skillet; drain off fat. Add water chestnuts, mushrooms, rice, salt, pepper, and soy sauce sauce to hamburger mixture. Add enough water to reserved liquids to make 2 cups. Stir into hamburver mixture.
Cover and bake at 350 degrees for about an hour. Makes 6-8 servings.
