|½ cup||Brown sugar|
|1 tablespoon||Plus 2 teaspoons cider vinegar|
Combine gooseberries, sugar, vinegar and salt in saucepan.
Simmer for about 40 minutes, stirring occasionally.
During last 10 minutes: ¼ of ¼ (don't overdo) of each of the spices to follow:
May be packed in sterile jars for storage or kept in the refrigerator.
