Yield: 1 Servings
Measure | Ingredient |
---|---|
1 \N | Chicken, cut up into pieces |
\N \N | Olive oil, for brushing |
12 \N | Cloves garlic, peeled (more if desired) |
\N \N | Salt and pepper to taste |
¾ cup | Dry white wine |
1 teaspoon | Oregano |
1. With a brush, coat the chicken lightly with olive oil. Place in a baking dish, and sprinkle with salt, pepper, and oregano.
2. Scatter cloves of garlic in pan amid chicken. Pour white wine into pan.
3. Bake, uncovered, in a preheated 350 degree oven for about 1 hour.
(Shorten time if boneless chicken pieces are used.) Note: I usually scatter more garlic. We love the pieces of baked garlic, especially smeared on a piece of French bread.
I usually use boneless, skinless chicken breasts, and the cooking time is about 30 minutes.
This smells heavenly as it is baking, and tastes wonderful.
