| 3 teaspoons | Baking powder |
| ¾ teaspoon | Salt |
| 1 cup | Margarine |
| 1¼ cup | Sugar |
| 2 | Eggs; well beaten |
| 1 cup | Chopped pecans |
| 3 teaspoons | Orange rind |
| ⅓ cup | Orange juice |
Preheat oven to 400^F. Sift flour, baking powder and salt together. Cream margarine; add sugar gradually; continue to beat until light. Add eggs; blend thoroughly. Stir in pecans and orange rind. Add sifted ingredients alternately with orange juice. Drop by teaspoon two or three inches apart on well-greased baking sheet. Bake for eight to ten minutes. Makes about 5 dozen.
