Orange apple ice (motts)

Yield: 12 Servings

Measure Ingredient
23 ounces Apple Sauce; *see note
⅓ cup Orange marmalade
3 \N Egg whites; beaten stiff

In medium bowl, combine apple sauce and marmalade; mix well. Carefully fold in beaten egg whites.

Pour into 8 or 9-inch square pan. Cover, freeze until firm.

Scoop frozen mixture into 5-oz. drink cups or spoon into dessert dishes.

TIP: *To make shell or cup, use a sharp knife to make sawtooth-cut around middle of fruit, cutting to inside center only. Twist, pull apart and remove inside portion from fruit, scraping shells clean with spoon.

Yields 12 (½-cup) servings.

Notes: Pantry: Mott's Natural or Regular Apple Sauce. For a special presentation, serve this low calorie ice in an orange shell or cup garnished with an orange twist. >Hanneman/Buster 1998-Apr
