2 pounds | Halibut fillets; cut into 4 pieces |
2 larges | Orange; juiced |
1 bunch | Green onions; chopped |
3 cups | Oyster sauce |
2 cups | Dry sherry |
2 cups | Red wine vinegar |
1 cup | Plum sauce |
1 cup | Orange zest |
1 cup | Ginger root; grated |
1 cup | Sugar |
¾ cup | Toasted sesame seeds |
¼ cup | Cilantro; chopped |
Make the marinate by blending all wet and dry ingredients together in a medium size bowl and whisk until blended. Place fish in bowl and marinate the Halibut in the marinade for about 1 hour. Brush hot grill with a little olive oil and broil fish on both sides until it flakes. Glaze with extra marinade and garnish with slice of orange and cilantro for color.
