| 2 cups | Thinly sliced onions |
| 1 tablespoon | Melted butter |
| 1 tablespoon | Olive oil |
| 1 teaspoon | Crushed dill weed |
| Salt and pepper to taste | |
| 4 | Halibut steaks (4-6 oz each) |
Combine onions, butter, olive oil, dill weed, salt and pepper in 9-inch square baking dish. Bake at 400 degrees for 10-15 minutes or until onions begin to brown. Season halibut, if desired; place on onion mixture and top with a few of the onion slices. Bake 10-15 minutes or until fish flakes when tested with fork. Serves four.
