|1 tablespoon||Baking powder|
|1 cup||Quick-cooking rolled oats|
|1 each||Egg; beaten|
Stir thoroughly the flour, baking powder, and ½ teaspoon salt. Cut in shortening till mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in oats.
Combine egg, milk, and honey; add all at once to dry mixture. Stir just till moistened. Drop b spoonfuls onto greased baking sheet. Bake at 425 degrees for 8-10 minutes.
