Navy bean soup

Yield: 8 servings

Measure Ingredient
2 cups Navy beans
⅓ pounds Salt pork, diced
\N \N Salt and pepper

Wash beans. Cover with water. Add pork. Cover. Simmer until beans are tender. Add more water if necessary. If desired, milk or cream may be added just before beans are served. Season to taste. 8 servings.
