Mushroom-marsala sauce - mix & match

Yield: 4 servings

Measure Ingredient
12 ounces Mushrooms*
½ cup Marsala, dry
½ cup Chicken broth
¼ teaspoon Salt
¼ teaspoon Pepper
1 tablespoon Butter

*use a combination of white, oyster & cremini; slice white & cremini, cut oyster mushrooms in half if large. Heat skillet over high heat.

Add mushrooms and cook, stirring often, until browned, about 5 minutes. Remove from skillet. Add Marsala, broth, salt and pepper and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 2 ~ 3 minutes until reduced to about half. Remove from heat, add butter and stir until melted. Spoon over the Mix & Match chicken, pork or steak. Top with sauteed mushrooms.
