Mrs. fields chocolate chip cookies

Measure Ingredient
1 pounds Butter
1½ cup White Sugar
2 cups Dark Brown Sugar, Packed
3 \N Eggs
2 teaspoons Vanilla
6 cups Flour
1½ teaspoon Salt
1½ teaspoon Baking Soda
4½ cup Chocolate Chips
2 cups Chopped Walnuts
2 cups Raisins-for oatmeal cookies
1½ cup Oatmeal-for oatmeal cookies

Cream butter and sugars. Add eggs, vanilla, flour, salt, and baking soda.

Beat for 3-4 minutes (batter may be dry). Add chips and nuts, or raisins and oatmeal for oatmeal cookies. Cover cookie sheet with wax paper. Scoop dough out with a large spoon.

Place 2" apart on sheet; change wax paper for every new batch. Bake at 350 for 8-11 minutes. (Cookies may not look completely done). Do not halve this recipe or it will not turn out as well.
