Mom's fruit salad

Yield: 8 Servings

Measure Ingredient
1 pack Lemon pie filling, NOT instant
½ pounds Miniature marshmallows
1 can (large) fruit cocktail, drained
½ cup Pineapple chunks, drained
1 cup Seedless grapes
1 cup Whipped cream*
\N \N Sliced bananas, dipped in lemon juice, for topping

Prepare pie filling according to package directions; cool. Add fruit cocktail, pineapple, grapes and marshmallows. Mix well; refrigerate overnight.

Just before serving fold in whipped cream* and top with banana slices (dipped in lemon juice to prevent browning).

*Whip cream with sugar according to your sweetness preference. Cool Whip may be used.

NOTES : If you want to wimp out and use instant pudding and Cool Whip, it will be OK but VERY sweet.
