Microwave rice

Yield: 1 servings

Measure Ingredient
2 cups Boiling water
½ teaspoon Salt
1 tablespoon Butter
1 cup Long grain rice

Pour water into a 1 qt glass casserole. Add remaining ingredients.

Cover and microwave on high for 10 minutes. Remove from microwave and let stand for 10 minutes. Serves 6.

Note: To reheat rice, place it in small casserole. Cover and cook 1 min.

* Timing based on 750w oven.
