Measure | Ingredient |

2 cups | Old fashioned oats |
4 cups | Milk |
½ teaspoon | Almond flavoring |
¼ cup | Brown sugar |
½ cup | Sliced almonds |
½ cup | Dried cherries |
1 large | Apple; unpeeled and grated |
1.Preheat oven to 400o. 2.Coat 3-qt. casserole or baking pan with cooking spray. 3.In mixing bowl, combine all ingredients. 4.Transfer to baking dish. Sprinkle top with additional almonds. 5.Bake uncovered for 45 mintues. Serve hot.
Variation: Omit almonds, almond flavoring and cherries. Add 1 tablespoon cinnamon, ½ cup raisins and ½ cup peanuts, chopped.
