Mediterranean-style burgers

Measure Ingredient
\N \N -Pam Coombes
2 pounds Lean ground beef
1 pack 10oz, frozen chopped spinach
\N \N Thawed, and drained well
2 cloves Garlic, finely chopped
¼ cup Grated Parmesan cheese
1 cup Prepared spaghetti sauce
½ cup Packaged Italian-seasoned
\N \N Bread crumbs

Preheat the broiler or prepare the grill so the coals are hot.

Combien the beef, spinach, Parmesan cheese, spaghetti sauce and bread crumbs in a large bowl until well mixed. Divide the mixture into 8 equal portions and shape into 8 burgers patties. Broil or grill the burgers 4 inches from heat for 6 minutes on each side or until cooked through. Family Circle 6/27/95
