In one quart sauce pan brin chicken broth to a boil. In a mixing bowl combine rice, oil, raisins, turmeric, curry powder and soy sauce. Pour into chicken broth. cover and cook over low heat 20 minutes or until all liquid is absorbed and rice is tender.
