Meat loaf, barbecue style

Yield: 6 servings

Measure Ingredient
1½ pounds Beef, ground
1 cup Breadcrumbs
1 \N Onion; finely chopped
1 \N Egg; beaten
1½ teaspoon Salt
¼ teaspoon Pepper
16 ounces Tomato sauce; divided
½ cup Water
3 teaspoons Vinegar
3 teaspoons Sugar, brown
2 teaspoons Mustard, prepared
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce

Combine beef, breadcrumbs, onion, egg, salt, pepper, and ½ can tomato sauce. Form into a loaf, and put in shallow baking dish.

Combine remaining ingredients; pour over meat loaf; bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes, basting occasionally.
