Maple syrup cream pie

Yield: 8 servings

Measure Ingredient
1 cup Heavy cream
1 cup Milk
4 eaches Eggs
¾ cup Maple syrup
1 each Pie shell, 9-inch, partially baked

Preheat oven to 325. Combine the cream and milk in a saucepan and heat until scaled. Beat the eggs for a minute until they are foamy.

Stir in ½ cup maple syrup. Slowly add the hot cream mixture to the egg mixture, stirring constantly. Pour the custard into the pie shell and bake for 30 minutes. Don't over bake; the center should tremble slightly when the pie is gently shaken. Remove from oven and cool. Just before serving drizzle the remaining ¼ cup of maple syrup over the top.
