Lubee ah laham (green beans with meat)

Yield: 1 Servings

Measure Ingredient
2 pounds Green beans
1 pounds Meat; cubed (lamb or beef)
1 medium Size onion
1 can (No. 2) whole tomatoes
1 can (small) tomato sauce
1½ teaspoon Salt
½ teaspoon Pepper
¼ teaspoon Cinnamon
1 cup Water
2 tablespoons Butter

String and cut green beans, wash and drain. Brown meat with onions in melted butter and add spices. Combine beans with meat. Cover and steam for 15 minutes. Add tomatoes and water and cook over low heat approximately one hour. Serve over rice.
