1 pounds | Meat; cubed (lamb or beef) |
1 medium | Size onion |
1 can | (No. 2) whole tomatoes |
1 can | (small) tomato sauce |
1½ teaspoon | Salt |
½ teaspoon | Pepper |
¼ teaspoon | Cinnamon |
1 cup | Water |
2 tablespoons | Butter |
String and cut green beans, wash and drain. Brown meat with onions in melted butter and add spices. Combine beans with meat. Cover and steam for 15 minutes. Add tomatoes and water and cook over low heat approximately one hour. Serve over rice.
