¾ teaspoon | Salt |
1 teaspoon | Sugar |
⅛ teaspoon | Paprika |
½ teaspoon | Dry mustard |
¼ teaspoon | Tabasco sauce |
1 cup | Grapefruit juice; divided |
2 teaspoons | Cornstarch |
Combine salad oil, salt, sugar, paprika, mustard, and Tabasco sauce in mixing bowl. Blend ½ cup grapefruit juice and cornstarch in small saucepan. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until mixture thickens and comes to a boil. Add to salad oil mixture; beat with rotary beater until smooth. Beat in remaining ½ cup grapefruit juice. Yield: 1-½ cups.
