| Measure | Ingredient |

| ¾ cup | Softened butter |
| ½ | Sugar |
| 1 | Egg yolk; beaten |
| 1 teaspoon | Vanilla |
| 1 pinch | Salt |
| 2 cups | Flour |
| Grated nuts for top | |
| ¾ teaspoon | Orange rind |
| 3 tablespoons | Softened butter |
| 1½ cup | Confectioner's sugar |
| 1½ tablespoon | Lemon juice |
Combine first 6 ingredients. Form in 4 small rolls and chill. Slice thin.
Sprinkle with nuts. Bake at 400 about 7 minutes, until light brown. Combine rind, butter, sugar and juice. Place small amount between 2 cookies. Press together gently.
