lady lee chocolate chip cookies

1 cup Butter or margarine; softeneed
1 cup Sugar
½ cup Packed brown sugar
2 teaspoons Vanilla
2¼ cup Unsifted flour
½ teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Baking soda
1 pack Chocolate chops; (12 oz.)

1. Cream butter with sugar, brown sugar, eggs, vanilla.

2. Combine flour, salt, soda; blend into creamed mixture.

3. Stir in chocolate chips. Drop by teaspoon onto ungreased baking sheets.

4. Bake at 375 F. for 8-10 minutes. Makes 8 dozen 2 inch cookies.

Variations: Add 1 cup chopped nuts or raisins.
