|1½ cup||Cooking oil|
|2 cups||White sugar|
|2 teaspoons||Baking soda|
|2 teaspoons||Baking powder|
|3 cups||Grated carrots|
|1 cup||Chopped pecans|
Beat together: Oil and sugar. Add eggs and beat well.
Sift flour, cinnamon, soda and baking powder. Blend with eggs mixture. Fold in carrots and nuts. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour in well greased pan. If you use layer cake pans, bake 30 minutes.
Frost with cream cheese frosting.
