Joanne's friend's alfredo sauce

Yield: 1 Servings

Measure Ingredient
1½ pounds Lite silken tofu; extra firm
½ cup Vegetable broth
2 teaspoons Basil or Italian herb blend
1 teaspoon Onion powder
½ cup Nutritional yeast; (can substitute soy parmesan)
4 tablespoons Butter Buds
16 ounces Fettucine

Cook pasta per package directions. Whiz the rest of the ingredients in a blender until smooth. Pour over hot pasta and mix well. Serves approximately 8 (very rich sauce). 241 calories, 2.6g fat.

Additional info: 9⅗% cff, 62⅘% carbs., 27⅗% protein NOTE: Can also replace broth with 2T broth powder and 1½ cups of V8 juice.
