Jim's horseradish barbecue sauce

Yield: 1 Batch

Measure Ingredient
½ cup Fresh lemon juice
½ cup Ketchup
¼ cup Sugar
1 teaspoon Cornstarch
½ cup Cider vinegar
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon Hot pepper sauce
½ cup Prepared horseradish

Make a slurry of the lemon juice, vinegar and cornstarch; add it to a sauce pan with the Worcestershire, sugar and pepper sauce. Bring just to a boil. Lower heat immediately and simmer 10 min. Remove from heat and stir in the horseradish. Use as a BBQ sauce or chill and use as a condiment with cold sliced roast meats . Submitted By JIM WELLER On 04-21-95 (2230)
