| ½ teaspoon | Liquid smoke (up to 1) |
| 2 teaspoons | Pepper |
| 2 teaspoons | Dried onion powder |
| 2 tablespoons | Salt |
| 2 pounds | Lean meat, cut in strips |
| 1 cup | Water |
Mix ingredients. Marinate in refrigerator for at least 6 hours before drying.
