Homemade ginger ale

Yield: 4 servings

Measure Ingredient
2 tablespoons Fresh ginger root
2 \N Lemon rinds
4 tablespoons Honey, to taste
1 cup Boiling water
1 quart Seltzer

Put the ginger and lemon rinds in a small bowl with the honey.

Pour in 1 cup boiling water (or just enough to cover). Let steep for five minutes.

Strain and chill. When ready to serve, add the seltzer water.

Makes 4 servings (10 ounces each).

One serving contains 65 calories and 16 grams of carbohydrates.
